Antonio's Quill Midge
Cheech 3/28/21
This unique style of tying dry flies ensures that your fly will float high, be visible, and allow your fly to sit in the water like a natural bug would sit. When fishing CDC flies, it's important to use a CDC friendly floatant such as Loon Lochsa, Tiemco Dry Magic, or a powder floatant of your choice. With this pattern, you will be able to skitter, pop, or dead drift your midge to match what the naturals are doing on the water. We recommend fishing a very long leader with light tippet to get the best results with this fly.
