Mother Shucker
Cheech, April 2022
This is another simple yet effective driveway pattern from our friend Phil Bair. This fly has been in our bins for a few years and have consistently been a top seller for us, so we decided we needed to give it some love on our YouTube channel. This fly can be tied in multiple sizes and colors and during a midge hatch it’s really hard to beat one of these high floating, maintenance free dry flies. In this video, we will show you a proper hackle stacker technique that uses elastic material instead of monofilament. Tie some up and poke some trout!
