My favorite hopper is the Project Hopper, but it's definitely not my favorite fly to actually tie... For this reason I created the Slum Hopper. See the original link HERE. THe slum hopper was designed to be a bare bones fly that you can use if the fish are less discerning on their hopper eating habits. If I can catch the same fish on a 5 minute fly instead of a 30 minute fly, I'll do that every time. This is a souped up version of the Slum Hopper that is maybe a little more involved than the original Slum Hopper, but way more simple than the Project Hopper. Enjoy!
