Roza's Violet Tailed Jig

Ihere are times that you know a fly is going to be very productive the first time you see it. The Roza's Violet Tailed Jig is one of those patterns that I first saw in the Fulling Mill Catalog, and I remember circling it with a red sharpie because it just looked fishy as all get out. Fast forward a year, and this fly has proven itself all over the Western US. Competitive angler Lubos Roza has a great range of flies with Fulling Mill, and this one certainly hasn't disappointed since we started fishing and selling it. It kind of has characteristics of the Duracell pattern but it has a slightly different build, opting for a natural colored body, and a bright tag instead of a CDL tail. This fly has quickly become a customer favorite and we have to order hundreds at a time to keep up with the demand, and guess what, people don't come back for more of the same fly unless it catches fish!
SPECIAL NOTE!! Vary the tag on this fly with several shades of purple, violet, and lavender. We are working hard to get more of the Hends #13, but there are a wide variety of materials that will work, including glo-brite floss, Hareline Ice Dub, and Senyo Fusion Fibers.
