Henry's Fork

Throughout the winter we have posted much information on the Henry’s Fork water conditions. Because its upper drainage (above the Warm River confluence) is within a drought situation. This information gives an idea of how fishing conditions may be in the upcoming season which can help in planning your flyfishing strategy and explain why such water conditions exist.

Currently all launch sites between Ashton and Chester Dams are open and fishing is good for nymphing, BWO and midge life cycle patterns and for presenting streamers. spawning rainbow trout are active, so please be on the lookout for and avoid their redds.
