Madison River
The boat-free section of the river can be fished if one does not mind dealing with mostly snowy streamsides. Some thick midge hatches are ongoing especially during overcast and wind free days. Otherwise, fishing deep around slicks with such patterns as San Juan worm, rubberlegs or zebra midge patterns can work.
