Outflow remains around 300 cfs. This low flow will not remain much longer because American Falls Reservoir is about 90 per cent full. so will not remain this low much longer because upstream run-off is coming and so is downstream irrigation. Fishing with streamer and big rubber leg patterns is most popular, but presenting egg patterns can be effective. Fish them into the deeper water of holes and submerged cracks. The further you go downstream, the fewer anglers you will encounter.
