Our Select Feathers, sourced from the cape or neck of a rooster, are the result of decades of meticulous genetic breeding, making Metz feather highly coveted for their exceptional buoyancy. When palmered, the stiff and dense micro barbs ensure that flies stay afloat on the water's surface. These feathers are graded and sized and available in a range of sizes and colors to match various hatches.

They don't look high quality, l was expecting saddle hackle, this appears to be from a cape.

Slightly less than expected

Wondered why they were so inexpensive. They are much shorter than [previous 100 packs I have gotten before. The fiber barbles are fine quality! However, I don't think I will get 100 from a feather. Fine feathers just shorter than expected.
