Elastic and flexible body or ribbing material. Makes for great tapered bodies as the material stretches to a great extent but yet flexes back to its original length if needed. Much stretchier than D-Rib or V-Rib or midge tubing.

Tying tiny midges

Tying size 24 midge larva and pupa patterns for use on the San Juan River in New Mexico was becoming a problem. I couldn’t find a material that was small enough until I found the midge stretch tubing. This material was exactly what was needed for sizing. Stretches well and doesn’t break. Problem solved!
