Schlappen

Great feathers. Bought them ti tie some walleye streamers for my son. Delivery was prompt colors were awesome. It was my first Crack at some simple streamers and they turned out amazing.

Schlappen is substitution for soft hackle

I love tying soft hackle wet flies but find soft hackle hard to find in a variety of colors and the feathers themselves vary in size leaving me with alot of longer soft hackle feather s that don't fit my needs for tying .
Shlappen Is a great soft hackle. The tips usually have short barbs and just a wrap or two makes a great collar for smaller soft hackle wet flies or nymphs.
